The VA is hiring Disability Examination Providers

The VA Locum Tenens Program seeks physicians and psychologists to perform disability examinations for general medicine and mental health conditions. Physicians will provide compensation and pension examinations for Veterans who file for disability claims. This position requires extensive travel around the country. Veterans Job Bank

Veterans are experiencing disproportionately high unemployment rates as a result of the economic downturn. The Veterans Job Bank is part of a number of federal efforts to help veterans find employment that fits their particular skill sets.

The Obama Administration has launched the Veterans Job Bank, at National Resource Directory, an easy to use tool to help veterans find job postings from companies looking to hire them. It already searches over 500,000 job postings and is growing. In a few easy steps, companies can make sure the job postings on their own websites are part of this Veterans Job Bank.
