One-Year MBA Exclusively for Physicians

The Physician Executive MBA Program at The University of Tennessee. This is the only one-year long accredited MBA exclusively for physicians. The program blends distance and resident education. Thus, you can earn an accredited MBA in one year without putting your career on hold.

This program has been rated as the number one preferred MBA program for physicians six years in a row. Please see the annual rankings in Modern Healthcare, 2006-2009, and Modern Physician, 2004 and 2005.

In the 13 Physician Executive MBA Classes of 1998-2010, 353 Physician Leaders from 45 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, Saipan and eight other countries have formed a wide geographic network. Please browse their bios under Physician Profiles at www.pemba.utk.edu. There is a database search feature so you can search those profiles.  There are several potential sources of financing for tuition including tuition assistance by your employer, tuition assistance by practice partners, CME budgets, tax deductibility, GI Bill benefits and student loans.

Thanks to Dr. Stahl for the info described above. Michael J. Stahl, Ph.D. is the Program Director and William B. Stokely Professor of Business at The University of Tennessee Physician Executive MBA Program
