12:00 noon – 1:00 PM U.S./Canadian Eastern

About This Free, Interactive Webinar:

All companies want profitable growth. The challenge is how to achieve it, which few do.

Often companies seek to "reinvent" themselves by launching multiple new initiatives and growth strategies. But this usually adds complexity, which hurts growth, kills profits, and weakens the core business.

Research by Bain & Company's Chris Zook—captured in his new book Repeatability: Building Enduring Businesses for a World of Constant Change—concludes that profitable growth comes from simple "great repeatable models" (GRMs). Companies with GRMs have learned to replicate their success and adapt, over and over, often for decades, in difficult industries and tumultuous circumstances.

Chris Zook is the best-selling author of Profit from the Core, Beyond the Core, and Unstoppable. Chris is a Director at Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm. At Bain Mr. Zook is co-head of the Worldwide Strategy Practice, and is a former member of Bain's Management Committee and Investment Committee. Chris has specialized in companies whose primary strategic concern is the search for new sources of profitable growth. He has worked in a range of industries including information, healthcare, computers and venture capital. Chris received a B.A. in mathematics and economics from Williams College, an M.Phil. in economics from Exeter College, Oxford University, and holds Masters and PhD. degrees from Harvard University.

On April 11, 2012, Zook will lead a complimentary, interactive HBR webinar that focuses on the findings from Repeatability and examines the three key elements of GRMs:

• Repeatable differentiation, based on identifying the key sources of differentiation and the activities that drive it
• Nonnegotiable principles that drive all business decisions
• Closed-loop continuous learning systems

Drawing from multiple real-world examples of GRMs, Zook will provide a blueprint your company can put into practice to build repeatable models that drive profitable growth. Join HBR on April 11.
