Join the HIMSS Ambulatory Information Systems team as an intern from Sept. 1, 2011 – May 31, 2012. The primary purpose of the HIMSS Ambulatory Information Systems internship is to provide an opportunity for a full-time student to learn about health information technology throughout the academic year.

The candidate will perform duties as required or assigned that will contribute to the effectiveness of the Ambulatory Information Systems Committee to help it achieve the goals and objectives of the overall HIMSS Ambulatory Information Systems initiative.

Interested applicants, please forward letter of intent with two letters of reference from employers or academic mentors to Mary Griskewicz, Senior Director of HIMSS Ambulatory Information Systems, by Aug. 1. A telephone interview will be scheduled upon submission of the letter of intent and reference letters. A candidate will be selected for this program before Sept.
