ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE
Doctors for America (DFA) is a national non-profit organization of 15,000 physicians and medical students from all 50 states who are fighting for affordable high quality care for all. We envision a fair and effective healthcare system guided by the core values of doctors and patients. Our members are practicing and retired physicians and medical students with diverse backgrounds— rural and urban, academic and private practice, trainees and senior attendings, primary care doctors and specialists.

We are a high-energy, passionate group of volunteers, and we pride ourselves on creativity and integrity. During the health reform debate, we brought the voices of thousands of physicians to Congress, the Obama Administration, and the public through our advocacy campaigns that were unprecedented in their scope. We are now developing new campaigns through which physicians can continue to shape the health care system. For more information, please see http://drsforamerica.org.
