• Employers realize transferable (skills acquired in the past that can be used in present) and soft (like communication) skills are becoming important in the workforce.
• Job seekers find broadening their job search, beyond one particular job description or type of job, is more beneficial than narrowing the search into one job description.
• Employers see the value of incumbent training-type programs, realizing the potential of current employees and preparing them for future health IT positions (this, in turn, creates a loyalty program within an organization).
