Join me at the ACPE Fall Institute for the "Implementers Panel" discussion

It's that time of year again. Time to mark your calendar for ACPE's 2011 Fall Institute, Nov. 6-10 in Scottsdale, Arizona. ACPE will be hosting an Implementers Panel at 4:45 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7. The speakers are entrepreneurs who are breaking new ground in the field of medicine. They include:
  • S. Hart Williford, the CEO of Ingenious Med, a leader in the field of electronic medical record software.
  • Joe Kim, founder of NonClinicalJobs.com and a digital entrepreneur and technologist.
  • Don McDaniel, president of Sage Growth Partners, who is also a health economist, speaker and writer.
  • Eric Schultz, CEO of QuantiaMD, an online physican-to-physician learning collaborative.
Also, ACPE will be hosting one of its most popular events this year: the release of the 2011 Physician Executive Compensation Survey. Find out what you're worth or discover how much money your peers are making with this comprehensive book, released by Cejka Search recruiting firm.

There are 11 great CME courses from which to choose, including popular options such as Metaleadership and Solve This. It's a terrific opportunity for those working toward an advanced degree or Certified Physician Executive status, because a number of core requirements are offered, such as Managing Physician Performance, Three Faces of Quality and the Science of High Reliability.

For veteran ACPE members who are looking for something new and different, there are several newer offerings. Social Media and mHealth Care is all about using the latest trends in social networking to attract patients and stay current, while Coaching & Mentoring provides the skills to become a better mentor, give meaningful feedback and deal with disruptive physician behavior.

Representatives from Cejka will host a session to discuss survey results at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8. A summary of the survey will be available to ACPE members. For a printed copy, the price is $150 for ACPE members and $350 for non-members. You can read summaries of previous editions here.
