Reed Conference Center and Sheraton Hotel, Midwest City, Oklahoma

This two-day conference will have a number of speakers in the healthcare entrepreneurship realm as well as corporate executives and experts in the field of healthcare discussing their ideas for innovation in multiple sectors of the industry. Dr. Arlen Meyers, President and CEO of SoPE will also be presenting on day 1 of the conference.

Topics for other sessions include the areas of Innovative Clinical Practices, Predictive Modeling for Healthcare, Healthcare Entrepreneurship - Education and Pedagogy, and many others.

" This inaugural conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Health reflects a growing need to transform today’s’ dysfunctional health care systems into one in which creative and innovative solutions will lead to better health and health care delivery. We are living through what is arguably the most challenging time for the health care industry. Globally, health systems are characterized by rising costs, poor access and diminishing quality and safety of care, and there appears to be no imminent solution on the horizon. In the wake of this crisis in health, the world is looking for new sources of efficiency and alternative business models. Now, more than ever, we need health sector academics and practitioners to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship…..not just to survive, but to redefine and reshape health and health care delivery."
