Don't miss the HIMSS Conference next month

Monday, January 16, 2012

Next month, HIMSS 2012 (HIMSS12) will be in Las Vegas. This is the largest health information technology conference and you won't want to miss it if you're pursuing a career in health IT. I've attended HIMSS for the past few years and I'm looking forward to it again this year.

Here are a few highlights about the HIMSS conference:

300+ education sessions
Search for education sessions focused on the industry's hottest topics: Meaningful Use, HITECH, HIE, standards, interoperability and more.

Knowledge Centers
You'll find HIMSS education sessions, exhibitor case study presentations, exhibition booths, new products and more in the six Knowledge Centers focusing on six hot topics.

The Intelligent Hospital™ Pavilion
The Intelligent Hospital™ Pavilion will provide a practical overview of a variety of technologies seamlessly integrated to provide clinicians with 'real-time' patient information delivered to their smartphones or tablets.

Also, don't miss this extra session on Monday: Physicians' IT Symposium: The Health IT Balancing Act: Managing the CMIO Workload.
